Running for office may seem daunting, but it is quite literally our job to help you. Town and county leaders work with prospective candidates to map out a plan for success.

PLUS - Most towns have non-partisan school board and library positions open.

Petitioning (to get on the ballot) starts in late February for town and county positions. Primaries are in June and general election in November.

Library and school board have different schedules, with petitions collected in March and April and elections happening in May and June. While PCDC does not endorse in these races, we encourage Democrats to consider running.
