Mondaire Jones inspired more than 150 Dems attending the Purple Putnam fundraiser on June 1st held at the historic “Cottage” overlooking the Hudson. His record of success when in Congress previously offers promise for the role he will play in representing the 17th Congressional District when he is re-elected to office in November.

Yvette Valdez Smith, candidate for NYS Senate, focused on the need to protect women’s rights, invest in working families and expand mental health programs, among other priorities.

Dana Levenberg shared her mission to “build healthy communities in every sense of the word - environmentally healthy, economically healthy, physically and mentally healthy, all through the lens of equity.”

The crowd cheered for Nancy Montgomery who is running unopposed for Putnam County Legislature from Philipstown. She welcomes Randall Mulkins who is running for the Legislature from Patterson.

Zach Couzens is running to bring young voices, new ideas, and Democratic voices to New York’s 94th Assembly District.

Putnam County Democratic Chair Jen Colamonico expressed appreciation to Marianne Sutton and David Watson who hosted the event at their historic inn.
